Excited sadness in the air
Knowing there’s no stopping their
Blatant declaration of the care
They pledge with every word
”Till death do us part”

A communal festivity
So much stressing activity
But when all is done, the sanctity
Of such a love binding pledge
“Till death do us part”

They say it will mean forever
This marriage of pure endeavor
And that there is no way to sever
This ancient bond sealed by God
“Till death do us part”

The two standing at the altar
They may not look like they’ll falter
But if they do, they’ll never alter
Those words of selfless pledges
“Till death do us part”

All the pretty decorations
All the beautiful creations
They want to shout it to the nations
That they have finally said
“Till death do us part”

And in the good times and the bad
When things happen to make them sad
Or when they are extremely glad
They’ll remember this their pledge
“Till death do us part”

It's me againProgress
