May you find your heart's desire
Your true soul mate be it he or she
May s/he make your heart burn with fire
The fire that kindles loyalty and passion alike
May s/he be there to rejoice in all with you
So that your rejoicing may be complete ‘n’ true
May s/he listen to everything you have to share
Being a precious light to you in your despair
May s/he always be the shoulder for your comfort
Putting up with you in love no matter your mood of sort
May s/he be the example to strive for in a perfect way
With God as your focus in all you both do and say
May s/he be the blessing sent for you from above
In all, may his/her affection be evident in his/her love
May s/he give you wisdom that is from God himself alone
So that in all you do and say, you have nothing to bemoan
May s/he show you respect that is honorable and true
Treating you as a most precious treasure and jewel
May s/he share with you in the blessings of God
Giving thanks to him alone and for his splendor laud
May s/he have his/her own foundation in the word
Always looking to it as the source of info preferred
May s/he always be true to you, even to the end
Letting this always be what s/he will intend
May s/he be willing to show you when you’re wrong
For it is to a perfecting race that you belong
May s/he always worship God as protector
Protector of your souls and friendship, and vector
May s/he not be afraid to come to you as well
Cause what may happen only time will tell
May s/he be there to always see you through
